Transportation Registration for the 2017/18 school year is NOW OPEN.
Please be aware that Golden Hills School Division has eliminated transportation fees. There will be NO charge to transport your child
Alberta Education funds door to door bus service for students that attend their designated school. Parents may choose to send their child to any school that they wish (school of choice) but it is a parent responsibility to provide transportation.
Within Golden Hills School Division, it is possible for students attending a School of Choice to meet a bus at an existing stop providing there is capacity on the bus.
Please follow the steps below to determine if your child is eligible for transportation:
1) If you are not sure, which school your child should attend, please select What School Should my Child Attend.
2) Review our Transportation Flow Chart below to determine if you should register your child online or download and complete the Rural School of Choice Request Form or Transportation to Caregiver Form.
3) Deadline for Registration for existing GHSD students June 30, 2017
4) If you are new to Golden Hills and registering after August 15, 2017, please allow for 5 business days to process your transportation request.
