At the March 26, 2019 Board meeting, the class size data for the 2018-19 school year was presented to the Board of Trustees. Golden Hills is proud to have met Alberta provincial class size targets in 3 out of the 4 categories. Though the primary grades saw class size numbers that slightly exceeded the provincial targets, some of this was due to the efforts of individual schools to accommodate parents’ preferences in those locations for single classroom grades, as opposed to smaller class sizes, but with split grades. Golden Hills is always working to provide the best educational experiences for our students, as well as being responsive to the excellent partnerships we’ve built with parents. Overall, our pupil-teacher ratios and class size averages are among the lowest in the province.
