Orange Shirt Day is a national movement to recognize the experience of residential school students. This year, Golden Hills organized its second-ever Orange Shirt Logo Design Contest, where students from across the Division are invited to create and submit logos to be printed on orange shirts for staff and students. Golden Hills received a total of 144 unique entries, each of which were carefully designed by our very own students.
The selection committee is excited to announce that this year, on Monday, September 30, 2019, staff and students from across the Division will be wearing orange shirts with the winning logo, designed by Cashus Red Crow in Grade 8 at Crowther Memorial Junior High School.
Congratulations, Cashus, and thank you to all contest participants for your creativity and beautiful designs!
