Golden Hills Hosts Second Annual Joint Princess and Warrior Pagaent

Golden Hills School Division hosted the 2nd annual Joint Princess and Warrior Pageant on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the Strathmore High School Theatre.

The Princess and Warrior Pageant is an opportunity for First Nations students to showcase their culture and leadership through public speaking and their dance or talents. Students wore traditional regalia and were supported with the music of a drum circle.

Princess and Warriors for 2024/2025 were announced for Carseland School, Crowther Memorial Jr. High School, Strathmore High School, Westmount School, and Wheatland Crossing School. Golden Hills School Division is proud of every student who participated in this year’s pageant.

Thank you to the four judges from Siksika, Chief Ouray Crowfoot, Councillors Marsha Wolf Collar and Samuel Crowfoot, and Elder Eileen Black.
