Golden Hills School Division is very pleased to announce the appointment of Emily Garrioch to the
position of Principal of Wheatland Elementary School, effective the start of the 2024/2025 school year.

Emily holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Prince Edward Island and is currently pursuing a Masters in Education in Reading Instruction and Development from Memorial University. Emily has been serving as Vice Principal of Wheatland Elementary School for the last 2 years and has been with the Golden Hills School Division since 2013. She is a highly skilled classroom teacher with over 12 years of teaching and administrative experience. Her participation on numerous committees and her varied teaching background will serve her well in her new administrative role.
