Golden Hills School Division is very pleased to announce the appointment of Meagen Vesely to the position of Vice Principal of Wheatland Elementary School, commencing the 2024/2025 school year.

Meagen holds a Bachelor of Elementary Education Degree from the University of Alberta and is working towards her Masters of Education in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning Studies in Elementary Mathematics from Memorial University. Meagen has over 14 years of teaching and Instructional Coach experience, as well as previous experience as an Assistant Principal with Northern Gateway School Division. We believe her experience as an Assistant Principal and her knowledge of Literacy and Numeracy Intervention, as well as her commitment to fostering positive learning environments, will serve her well in her new administrative role.
