Golden Hills School Division is very pleased to announce the appointment of James Atkinson to the position of Vice Principal of Crowther Memorial Junior High School, effective the start of the 2025/2026 school year.

James has a Bachelors of Applied Science from Southern Cross University, a Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Western Australia, a Masters in International Education from the University of Bath and a Masters of Educational Leadership with Distinction from the University of Newcastle. James has been a Vice Principal for the past 12 years and has over 20 years of classroom and other leadership experience.

James’ educational philosophy focuses on creating environments where students and staff feel connected to the school community, engaged in meaningful learning experiences, and empowered to contribute to a positive and forward-thinking school culture.

We feel James will be an excellent addition to the Leadership team at Crowther Memorial Junior High School.
